SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Thank you for your interest in submitting to Diaspora.
Applicant Requirements:

Applicant must be a student ages 13-18

When submitting the form below, the applicant acknowledges that Diaspora may publish their work in the respective issue and be featured on the newspaper archive.
Submission Requirements:

Please submit your written piece via. personal email. School emails may inhibit access to your writing, making it difficult to publish.

Diaspora does not accept previously published works.

All written pieces must exceed 300 words. The recommended range is 300-500 words, and submissions may not exceed 1000 words.

Submissions must include the written piece and a 3rd person written bio of the author, not exceeding 100 words.

There is no submission fee.
Formatting Requirements:

Diaspora accepts history-related articles, regardless of if it is categorized as fiction (short stories, flash-
fiction, historical fiction) or non-fiction (informational essays, argumentative) (and art pieces?). -
Diaspora does not accept photography, poems, comics, or advice columns unless indicated otherwise.
